Youth Mentoring

Specialised 1:1 Youth Mentoring.

​

Peace Together Mentoring will work closely with the young person and spend quality 1:1 time with each other to support their development.

 

Peace Together Mentoring specialises in using therapeutic supports along with our Model of Healing and Repair to best support young people develop and learn coping skills and strategies and emotional regulation.

  • Free Progress Report after each session. 

  • No extra cost for activities or meals. 

Transitional Mentoring

For 15-18 year old's:

Peace Together Mentoring has years of experience assisting adolescents in developing their independence skills, allowing them to be ready for the next stage of life. Transition into adulthood or transition from 'care', supporting young people to develop necessary skills such as budgeting, grocery shopping, help with Centrelink, we can even support young people in completing their Learner License driving logs.

  • Free Progress Report after each session.

Extended Mentoring sessions

Extended Mentoring/ Care sessions are between 4-12 hours when the young person is requiring a bit more of a break in their day-to-day to spend with their Mentors

​

We can transport and supervise any family contacts of our Young People to ensure it is a safe and meaningful visit. 

​

We will also provide a Family Contact Report.

​

Supervise Family Contacts

We can offer our supports if you need any transports such as drop offs or pick ups to support the Young Persons day-to-day.

We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today. We also extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.
